All-new 2022 Acura RDX package

This brand is the sister company of The Honda Motor Company, specializing in the manufacturing of luxury cars since 1986. Acura includes an impressive line-up of sedans, SUVs, and a supercar.
In this review, we will be looking at the new 2022 Acura RDX package, which is one of the two SUVs Acura has. We will later compare it with the Acura MDX's other SUV model.
The 2022 Acura RDX
We love this SUV because it's from a luxury brand; it's still affordable compared to the smaller versions of SUVs found at Audi, Mercedes, and BMW. Starting at $48,175 you can be sure of getting a good bargain on your money with the Acura RDX.

What makes the 2022 version of Acura RDX exceptional are all the technological advances which have been added, such as keyless entry and ignition, onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, upgraded wireless connectivity to apps.
Other noticeable new updates on the Acura RDX were the light modifications of its physical appearance and reduced road noise for a quieter cabin.
Standard features
In general, all RDX models come with standard front-wheel drive, a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission. They also include:
- Adaptive cruise control: helps the RDX keep a safe distance from the car in front of him
- Blindspot monitors with rear cross-traffic alerts warn the driver when there is a car in their blind spot when changing a lane or reversing
- In some cases, forward collision mitigation warns of impending collisions and automatically applies the brakes
- Lane-keeping assists: brings the vehicle back into its lane if it starts to go over the marked lines
- Panoramic sunroof
- 19-inch alloy wheels
- Heated front seats and steering wheel
- Simulated leather upholstery
Technological features
The first accessory which shows how the RDX is now equipped to be more tech-savvy was the introduction of the Acuralink app, which allows the owner to connect to the car via their smartphone and effectuate simple commands. Through this app, you can interact with Alexa and activate the Wi-Fi hotspot, which allows you to stream videos and even play online games 50 feet from the car. This app includes features such as Find My Car and Remote Start.
When integrating a wireless charger, safety was kept in mind that eliminates the hassle of dealing with cords while on the road. You can easily play your music and access your files thanks to the WIRELESS APPLE CARPLAY, the 10.2 full HD display placed in the center of the dashboard.
The 2022 Acura MDX is much more expensive and bigger than the Acura RDX. The 3.5-litre V6 engine powers the MDX and brings its hp rating to 290 while the RDX comes up to 272hp. The MDX has seven seats, while the RDX has five seats. Both models have the same technological and standard exterior and interior features, apart from the above defining performance specifications.
