Performance

The nine-speed automatic transmission system has been upgraded to a 10-speed automatic transmission system that enables better throttle response and easier gear changes. You’ll also be able to change gears manually in the new Acura TLX.
The all-wheel-drive engine gets approximately 8.92km/L in the city and 12.32km/L on the highway. You can expect to get about 10.2km/L combined.
The TLX Type S has added upgrades, including Brembo performance tires, extra chassis bracing for assisted handling, and adaptive suspension.
Interior and Technology
The interior makes for a comfortable driving experience with the abundance of padding in the seats. The front offers enough space to sit comfortably, and the doors open wide to allow for easy access into the cabin.
The TLX comes standard with a sunroof, dual-zone climate control, imitation leather upholstery, a 10-speaker sound system, and ambient lighting. Tech features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, satellite radio, Wi-Fi hotspot, two USB ports, and a 25.9cm infotainment touchscreen. Other stand-alone technology accessories include a heated steering wheel, a wireless phone charging pad, and a remote engine start.
Safety Features
The luxury sedan has standard driver-assist systems. The forward-collision warning system will alert you of impending collisions and automatically apply brakes if you can’t respond in time. The lane departure system warns you to apply the turn signal before changing lanes. The adaptive cruise control system will maintain the correct driver-set distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. The multi-view backup camera will give you a 360-degree view of all objects in the surrounding areas.
